Here's how to do it.Ĭonnect a wireless PS4 controller with a Macġ. I connected my Mac with the Sony DualShock 4 Wireless Controller and also the Xbox One controller that came with the Xbox One S and Xbox One X.

Follow these steps to connect your gaming controller of choice to your Mac. Launched in October, the $5-a-month gaming subscription service offers unlimited access to a catalog of a 100-plus games that you can play on a Mac, iPhone, iPad or AppleTV. Now that Apple Arcade has been available for over a month, there's even more reason to think again about how to make gaming on a Mac a better experience. It's actually quite simple to connect them to your MacBook Pro, iMac or MacBook Air via Bluetooth - no need to download drivers or use a dongle. But if you're not into the Mac keyboard and mouse controls for your games, you can use an Xbox or PS4 controller instead. Is there any way to get 10.15.3? Xcode works on that and I think I won't face these issue in that version. While the Mac has never really been known as a gaming computer, that hasn't stopped people from clicking their arrow keys and spacebar while they played games like Minecraft and Fortnite. Is this issue related to 10.15.4 because in previous versions of macOS Catelina worked fine. And battery can last only upto 2 hours if I just browse the internet with no other apps opened. Without putting any load it overheats too much on the right side and fan is always blowing out hot air even if I do simple tasks. But I needed Xcode's latest version and had to upgrade again. No overheating and I don't think fan even spun for all that time no matter what I did. Even upgrading to Mojave again worked fine. So I reinstalled macOS version that came with my laotop(Yosemite) and it worked fine and battery works fine too. It solved no problems and when I tried running playgrounds app it made run fan even crazier and battery got from 70% to 15% in 20-30 mins. So I decided to reinstall again thinking maybe there was an issue with installation of os. My MacBook model is MacBook Pro 13" Retina early 2015. even opening music app can make fan run like crazy. The fan starts to run after few mins of turning on MacBook and it runs wild if I put some load on it.

Overheating after updating to macOS 10.15.4 I was happy with Catalina and I was on 10.15 but I decided to update to latest version which is 10.15.4 and after updating my MacBook Pro overheats even without any apps opened.
